    it is a multi media card (MMC)
    There are FMMC, RS-MMC. MMC-PLUS ,MOBILE -MMC , AND now samsung also promote his MMC-MICRO which just like the TRANSE-FLASH(SANDISK)

    i know MMC is mostly used in storage of digital camera, and RSMMC,MMC Moile is for mobile device.
