Infineon Technologies AG's Qimonda memory chip unit plans to slash production of DRAM memory chips and instead focus more on specialised products in the next 1-2 years as part of a new corporate strategy,Qimonda wants to cut the share of the memory chip products in its overall business to around 50 pct in the medium term, the paper said.
