OCZ Z-D4C is the only enterprise server-level SSD in this testing. Due to different purposes and uses, PCIe interface is applied directly to the PCIe slot in the hosts. Tested is a Full-height PCIe model with 1.6T capacity and SandForce 2281 control chip.
Though the datum point may differ due to different uses, in order to demonstrate the speed of different server levels, we will include the final speed of SSD designed for ordinary customers and compare it with the speed of enterprise servers. In addition, Z-D4C is only for the 7 32-bit and 64-bit version of Windows 7; given that Windows XP has been discontinued for a long time and also expected to withdraw from the market, OCZ will no longer provide related drivers.
AS SSD has a significant score of 4120, nearly 3 times greater than that of their own 256GB models, and a reading/writing speed nearly 4 times faster. The data listed above demonstrates the excellent efficiency of servers with SSD.
The CDM test showed an equally impressive set of numbers. Whether it is in the area of continuous reading and writing speeds, or with regards to the 512K, 4K, and 4KQ32 categories, the superiority of server SSDs over consumer SSDs is clear. That their positions and prices vary, as such, is not surprising.
The numbers shown by HDTunePro are somewhat less amazing by comparison. The reading and writing speeds appear good on average, although numbers tend to fluctuate from time to time.

Not surprisingly, the numbers of the OCZ Z-D4C again trumps those shown by the other consumer models.
From what the abovementioned scores and figures indicate, the OCZ Z-D4C is a praiseworthy enterprise standard SSD. As its price tends to be higher than that for consumer based SSD, the Z-D4C is best applied to demanding activities such as non-linear media editing, online server backup, shadow copying, and data write-backs.
